Nimb is a kickstarter project that helps you feel 'safe' and 'sound'.
The functional aspect of Nimb is a smart ring that has a panic button.
The panic button notifies the user's contacts that are set up prior to whatever dangerous situation they are in.
This can be done by simply pressing the button located under user's finger for
three seconds.
The safety list & tags can be managed on the mobile app. Furthermore the user may join communities for extra contacts.
The app is also used to receive emergency notification from other users that are in danger.
Thus forming the Nimb community can help potential victims.
Nimb requires smartphone with bluetooth and gps functions. It also requires the application in order to form the
contact list as well as linking it to the gps function. The most important element is the people on the contact list,
since the design becomes useless if there is no actual helping when its asked for.
